Hi everyone & welcome back to the site! We are preparing to host, for the third year in a row, Sarena's Dinner Dance Gala, with the hope of raising money for Cystic Fibrosis research. With the help of everyone involved over the last two years of the event, from friends & family coordinating the event, to local and national businesses with their generous donations, to all of the individual people who have come to the event over the last two years, we have been able to raise $16,500 to help support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our first year, we raised $6,500 and in year two we broke the $10,000 mark. This means so much to not only Sarena, but to her family, friends, and everyone who is affected by Cystic Fibrosis. The outpouring of generosity that we have seen over the last two years of hosting this event has been overwhelming to say the least, and while it is difficult to actually express the amount of gratitude we all have, we can at least try. So THANK YOU to everyone and all of the support we have gotten over the last two years to make the event grow & continue to be a success in the future.

 

Now, onto the event details for 2014! This year, the event will take place on Saturday, April 5.  Just as in the last two years, the event will be hosted by Zandri's Stillwood Inn in Wallingford, CT. Tickets this year will be $60. The event will begin at 6:30 PM and end at midnight, hopefully offering everyone ample time to enjoy the buffet dinner, open bar, dancing, raffles, and overall awesome time.

 

Tickets may be purchased through the homepage of this website through Paypal. If you have any questions at all, please go to the "more" tab at the top of the page, and click on "contact us". You can complete the form there and either myself or Cynthia will contact you back as soon as we can.

 

Also, on January 19th, Avanti Restaurant at 34 River Rd. in Meriden will be donating 20% of each check for lunch with the voucher below! All you have to do is have lunch there on January 19th between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM and 20% of the bill will be donated to the Friends os Sarena Foundation. Reservations are REQUIRED, so please if you decide to go, contact Avanti at 203-440-9990 prior to January 19.
